Certified therapy dog

Tucker

Tucker is a fully certified therapy dog. His training focused on creating a calming presence, helping clients feel safe and open during their therapeutic sessions.

Tucker is Beacon of Hope's four-legged team member, professional comfort provider, and self-proclaimed holder of the title "Best Employee on the Team." This lovable 18-month-old Sheepadoodle brings warmth, joy, and plenty of tail wags to the therapy office, helping clients of all ages feel welcome, supported, and at ease.

As a fully certified therapy dog, Tucker has been specially trained to provide a calming and reassuring presence during therapy sessions. Whether he's offering a quiet companion by your side, greeting clients with a wag, or simply providing a comforting paw, Tucker has a special way of helping people feel safe and connected.

Tucker especially enjoys meeting new friends, receiving belly rubs, and reminding everyone that healing can sometimes begin with a wagging tail and a little unconditional love. His gentle nature and playful personality often help reduce anxiety, ease stress, and create an environment where clients feel more comfortable opening up and engaging in the therapeutic process.
While Tucker may not have a counseling degree, he is highly skilled in snuggles, companionship, and making people smile. He is honored to be part of the Beacon of Hope team and loves supporting clients on their journey toward healing, growth, and well-being—one tail wag at a time.
