Cassie brings a thoughtful and compassionate presence to her work with individuals, children, couples, and families. With a background in journalism and global health studies, followed by years of behavioral health and non-profit work, Cassie approaches therapy with a deep curiosity about people’s stories and a strong commitment to social well-being. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Iowa.
Cassie draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring her approach to the needs of each person or family. She supports clients through a range of experiences, including grief, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, and life transitions. Cassie especially enjoys working with children and their caregivers, helping strengthen relationships and build resilience through play, routine, and skill-building.
Clients describe Cassie as warm, grounded, and collaborative. She values honesty, connection, and humor in the therapy room and believes that small, intentional shifts can lead to meaningful growth.
